Few companies have the tools developed to easily track and manage compliance activities and GeoForce has been innovative in the way they have approached this problem. Since Chris comes from the industry, he has a unique perspective to bring to the table from the industry side of the fence and understands how contractors think and do things. There are very few companies out there with the insight to understand contractors and their needs and develop tailored programs specific to their needs. With resources thin in today’s economic climate, every dollar counts and there are few to waste on drawn out / ineffective training programs. GeoForce Horizons believes in stepping up in a responsible manner to make a difference now and for future generations. They believe in leading by example and have been willing to make the investment to provide that example.

A program like HSEP is long overdue in Hawaii, and I strongly urge all NPDES General Permit holders to actively participate. The cost is negligible compared to the benefits in facilitating fulfillment of our responsibility to safeguard Hawaii’s unique and fragile environment for future generations. One of the features that I consider to be most valuable is the availability of third-party site and program evaluations. Even the most seasoned environmental manager is subject to subliminal bias in internal auditing due merely to familiarity and repetition. A fresh set of schooled eyes is always welcome on my site.
